The hagfish is considered a delicacy in some parts of the world. I wouldn't count on that to be a reason for associating with one.
They are other-worldly looking...unreal perhaps, but then, all things are only real through the eyes of the beholder. Life is an entirely subjective experience.

This is not an informative blog regarding the hagfish. It is, instead, an autobiographical work by me, Ann Murray. I am not a fish. Sorry. This in one form or other, is the story of my mishaps, and also, some of my haps. Fair and Balanced and all that.
